Southsea Kite Festival 2026 was AMAZING!🪁🍔

What a weekend! Two days of incredible kites filling the skies above Southsea Common, and plenty of you coming hungry for freshly cooked street food.

A huge thank you to everyone who chose The Cookhouse for their Kite Festival lunch stop. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and keeping everyone fed over the weekend! 💚

We're heading to Butser Ancient Farm next Saturday, 19th September, for Equinox, an immersive celebration of the early medieval period.

Expect Viking and Saxon warriors, the return of the Viking boat burn as the festival comes to a dramatic close, and of course fresh street food🔥
