We’ll be there 9:30am–12pm with all our usual friends, making it the perfect place to pop along for your Bank Holiday weekend treats! 🥩🧀☕️💐🍦🦐

PLEASE NOTE: We can only bring what the van can physically hold, so we don’t bring everything we have available with us each time.

Morning Farm Visit Folks 👋
I have just sent emails to anyone who has booked onto our farm visit sessions over the next few weeks. If you have not received the email, please get in touch and I’ll re-send. As you can see the dogs are not helping at all!

Remaining places available:
Thursday 13th August 9:30-12:30 (1 space)
Wednesday 19th August 9:30-12:30 (1 space)
Wednesday 19th August 13:00-16:00 (1 space)

1 space means 1 family, not just 1 child. The more the merrier and saves me talking as much 😅

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Wyresdale Dexters! 🚜🐑☀️

We’ve loved spending time at our local agricultural show, making memories camping in the beautiful Lakes with friends, and, back on the farm, getting the important job of dipping all of our flock done to keep them healthy and happy.

Now it’s time to get back to what we love most – bringing our homebred, high-quality meat to our wonderful customers.

🕘 9:00am – 1:00pm

We’ll have all our usual team there with a great selection of our grass-fed Dexter beef, homegrown lamb and heritage breed pork, along with your favourite sausages, burgers, bacon and more.

If you’re passing by, we’d love to see you – pop along, say hello and stock up for the weekend!

Unfortunately, we won’t be at Mrs Kirkham’s Farm Shop tomorrow morning as we normally are. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If there’s anything you’d like, farm collection will be available on Friday at the following times:
🕝 2:30pm–4:30pm
🕡 6:30pm–8:00pm

Please send us a message before coming so we can make sure your order is ready for collection.

We are back with another round of educational farm visits and what a fantastic day we’ve had to start it all off 👩‍🌾 🐑 🐂 🐖 🐓 🚜
We talked about how we farm here at Wyresdale Dexters, meeting all the animals and discussed how we work with nature alongside all we do. The kids were a credit to their families asking lots of really interesting questions and not being afraid to get stuck in to all the activities. Looking forward to more sessions this summer ☀️

Join us at Wyresdale Dexters for our Educational Access Visits – a hands-on 3-hour farm experience where learning comes to life!

Children and groups will:
🐂 🐑 🐖 Take a guided tour of our working farm
🌾 Discover how farming, conservation and food production work together
👐 Get involved in a hands-on farming or conservation activity
🌳 Spend time outdoors, connecting with nature and supporting wellbeing

Using the farm as our classroom, we’ll inspire curiosity about where food comes from, how we care for the environment, and the important role farmers play.

🌿 It's Farmers' Market Weekend at Hoghton Tower! 🌿

Join us tomorrow from 10am–2pm and browse a fantastic selection of local produce, artisan treats, handmade gifts and more from our wonderful traders.

🚗 Entry is just £3 per car or for a group of up to 6 pedestrians.

🐶 Dogs are very welcome, so bring the whole family (including your four-legged friends!) for a great day out.
