“Not a Job, A Calling”

There’s an easier way to make a living. Everyone tells you that when you start. And they’re not wrong. This job takes your nights, your weekends, your holidays. It takes your skin, your sleep, and sometimes your sanity. If you’re here just for a paycheck, you won’t last.

Because this work isn’t just a job, it’s a calling.

Something pulls you back into the heat, no matter how bad the night before was. Something makes you lace up those beat-up shoes and tie on that stained apron again. It’s not logical. It’s not comfort. It’s something in your chest that comes alive when the kitchen wakes up.

There’s a pride in it that nobody on the outside will ever fully understand. In the precision of a clean cut. In the smell of stock simmering at 6 a.m. In the first plate, that leaves the pass perfectly, knowing it started as raw ingredients and your hands turned it into something worth serving.

It doesn’t matter if no one sees the grind behind it. You know. And when it’s in you, you can’t imagine doing anything else.

So, no. This isn’t a job. This is who we are.

I’ve had so many messages lately asking about pop-ups — first of all, thank you 🙏
If you’ve got a kitchen or a van, whatever it may be. I’m there. No questions asked. You know how I roll guys.

Truth is, the last couple of months haven’t been easy. I admit things went west and I publicly lost my head over being treated so badly but one thing that could never change is my passion & Drive for my little business. It’s not A job it’s my livelihood.

This little business has carried me through some tough times, and hearing from customers, suppliers, and other traders asking where I’ve been and when I’ll be back … honestly means alot! Thank you.

Pop up, Events, Meal preps, Pubs, Stalls allllllll of that until I’m back permanently👌🏽

I’m still here. Still standing. Still cooking.
