So a recipe for Hugo spritz cake popped up on my feed this weekend.. and since going to Lake Garda quite a few years ago it’s definitely my favourite tipple 🍸
Hugo + Cake = absolute joy 🤩
So after a labour of love this afternoon I made it
and it’s flipping amazing 😍
Unfortunately I don’t think Gary and I could possibly eat the whole cake 😔🤢
So I’m going to share it with our lovely customers it will be in the shop tomorrow.

We are closing for a week to enjoy some R&R
before the crazy time of year is upon us 🎄🎅🏻
Can’t believe we are nearly in September already. 😳😮
We will be closed as of the 31st August and we will reopen on the 7th September (Monday)

I hope you all fully understand this decision because trust me for the boss man to close for a WHOLE week is HUGE 😂
But we 💯need a little bit of time out.
Prior to us closing we can vacuum pack majority of our meat so you don’t need to miss out just double up and we will do our very best to make sure your all stocked up.

Print this off and design your monster!

This comp ends at the end of August so all drawing sheets need to be dropped into the butchers G.Rowles Butchers and Delicatessen or at the longridge canteen 🧑🏼‍🎨🎨

I am also hosting another craft class to design monsters on the 24th so message me if your little one would like to join one of them!!!

This is a charity event and the money is going half to the brownie hut and half to the charity called headway.

Don’t forget to join in, even if the design isn’t selected for a shop window, it will be up in the Longridge library window (they have kindly let me use their space) ❤️

We have 3 free tickets which allows 2 people each one to free entry 😊😊
Seems a shame for them to go to waste.
