Your pint shouldn't be taxed the same as a luxury yacht. But right now, you're charged 20% VAT on both. Doesn't seem very fair, does it? 🤔

We're Dartmoor Brewery. We're independent, and we brew ales on the moor, supplying pubs, hotels and restaurants across the South West and beyond. We're supporting the campaign to lobby the Government to reduce the hospitality VAT to 10% - that's in line with the rest of Europe.

🚴 This Sunday, hundreds of cyclists will be taking on one of the UK's toughest cycle sportives right on our doorstep - the Dartmoor Classic!

We're proud to be lending our car park as a feed station for the event, giving riders a well-earned pit stop as they tackle the legendary climbs of the moor.

With routes ranging from 46 to 107 miles across some of Dartmoor's most spectacular landscapes, it's a proper challenge, and all in aid of brilliant local causes including Devon Air Ambulance and Dartmoor Search and Rescue.

Good luck to every rider taking part. We'll be cheering you on! 🍺🏔️

Someone's having a laugh, but it's not you, and it's not us. 😒

We're backing , the campaign pushing the Government to cut hospitality VAT from 20% to 10%. It's the greatest thing they could do to protect your local pub, your favourite restaurant, or your nearby hotel.
