New Hall Vineyards is a family run English Wine Producer with over 100 acres of vines. Established in 1969, New Hall Vineyards is renowned in East Anglia for its award winning wines that have been produced by the Greenwood family for three generations. New Hall Vineyards are open to customers from Monday-Saturday for samples and sales in the Cellar Shop and to walk the Vineyard Trail - where you will learn more about the history of the vineyard and English wine as a whole.

This Saturday (20th June) is Open Day at New Hall 🙌

Our second (and final) Open Day of the year is the perfect way to kick off English Wine Week 🥂

Come and spend the day with us among the vines. Expect wines by the glass, tours, seasonal flights, and plenty to discover at the Cellar Door.

We’ll have:

- Winery tours with Head Winemaker
- Taste and chat with brand ambassador
- Explore the vineyards via our self-guided trail.
- Relax around the Tasting Shed and soak it all up

And did we mention amazing food and live music!?



(Both serving 10am–5pm, or until they sell out!)

And to celebrate, we’re doubling our mix & match case discount… 10% off 6 bottles / 20% off 12 bottles.

It’s completely free to attend and there’s no need to book, just turn up and enjoy the day.l, 10am–5pm.

Such a lovely afternoon yesterday 🙌🥂

Lucy headed to to be part of the Crouch Valley trade tasting in Chelmsford, alongside lots of fellow producers, showcasing wines from our amazing corner of the English wine world.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, tasted, chatted and helped make it such a success. Always lovely to catch up with familiar faces, meet some new ones, and see so much enthusiasm for Crouch Valley wines.

Our impressive machine harvester, affectionately known as ‘The Beast’, only gets to come out to play for a few weeks each year during harvest 😁🍇🚜

… so we took the opportunity at a big recent corporate Summer Social event to bring it out and show it off!

A big part of harvests here at New Hall for the last three years, this magnificent bit of kit will be back in action again for vintage 2026, with Andy and the vineyard team at the wheel!

We’re their English wine partner, and were thrilled to be part of the themed evening... showcasing the very best of Essex producers. 100 guests, a lovely string quartet, gorgeous venue and lots of happy corporate partners.

GOLD for Signature 2025! 🙌🥇🔥

We’re delighted to share that our brand new Signature 2025 has been awarded a Gold medal at the Independent English Wine Awards 2026! .iewa

It’s a special wine for us, made from selected parcels of our premium aromatic varieties. It’s a celebration of our heritage, place and winemaking evolution, and we’re thrilled to see it recognised so highly by the IEWA judges. Thanks to them all!

Here’s a little of what they had to say…

“A refined, aromatic white blend with floral, citrus and stone fruit notes. Balanced, fresh and elegantly textured, with a clean, persistent finish: a polished and high-quality Gold medal wine.”

We are very excited to bring you our brand new release of our Winemakers 'Signature' blend as our Wine of the Month.

Crafted from selected parcels of the Estate’s premium aromatic varietals, our ‘Signature’ celebrates New Hall’s terroir, heritage and winemaking evolution. Stylistically the portfolio’s most aromatic wine, with lychee and rosehip on the nose, a layered palate of opulent stone fruit and subtle spice, and a smooth, harmonious finish.

Our Signature wine pairs beautifully with dishes that echo its perfume and complement its smooth, harmonious finish. Think along the lines of Thai coconut lime curry with prawns, fragrant roast chicken with ginger and lemongrass, or even a lightly spiced Moroccan tagine with apricots and almonds. Each of these dishes mirrors the wine’s opulence and aromatic lift, allowing the flavours to intertwine in a way that feels both vibrant and refined.

Great fun hosting the Essex Porsche club for a tour and tasting! 🙌🚘

Lucy, Jacques, our brand ambassador and the team hosted this wonderful group of people, and 19 superb looking cars which dazzled in the Crouch Valley sunshine.

We loved hosting them and can’t wait to welcome them back again next year!

Here’s an important date for the diary… Saturday 20th June is an Open Day at New Hall! 🙌

This will be the second (and final!) Open Day of the year, and the perfect way to kick off English Wine Week 🥂

Come and spend the day with us in the vines. Expect wines by the glass, seasonal flights, and plenty to discover at the Cellar Door. We’ll have winery tours running throughout the day for a behind-the-scenes look, a self-guided vineyard trail to explore at your own pace, and lots of space to settle in around the Tasting Shed and soak up the atmosphere.

And the food and music line-up is looking very strong… 👇
