What a first season πŸ–€

As summer winds down, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has made Selar part of their lives so far.

Every visit, takeaway, kind word, review, recommendation and share has meant more to us than you probably realise. We started Selar hoping to create something a little different, but most importantly, somewhere that feels like part of the community. Seeing people come through the doors, bring their friends and families, meet up, stay for another drink and come back again has made our first season incredibly meaningful.

Now, as we head towards our first winter, we want to hear from you.

What would you love to see happening at Selar over the colder months? Boom clubs? Quiz nights? Workshops? Educational nights? New food or drinks? Something completely different?

One of the best things about being independent is that Selar can grow with the people around it. We want this to be a place shaped by our community, supported and supporting the local business of Pwllheli, not just somewhere you come to eat or drink.

So throw your ideas at us, sensible or ridiculous as they might be. Comedy nights? Private dining? On site or at your own venue perhaps?

Tell us in the comments what would get you out of the house on a cold winter evening, and let’s make Selar’s first winter something we can all enjoy together.
