Making soap at home sounds simple, but even small missteps can cause big mistakes !
Here’s what to watch out for:

❌ Lye Issues – Too much or too little lye can make soap harsh or mushy. Precision is everything!
❌ Temperature Troubles – Oils and lye need to be just right. Too hot or too cold? You might get cracking or separation.
❌ Seizing Soap – Mix too vigorously or add fragrances too early, and your soap can harden instantly.
❌ Rancidity – Oils can go bad if not stored properly, affecting your soap’s scent and shelf life.
❌ Scent & Color Surprises – Some fragrances discolor soap or fade over time

Just stick to melt and pour 😭
