We used to show both breeds with great success at larger county/ national shows like the Royal of England ,Bath and west , Three counties , Royal cornwall etc but felt this was not really the way forward for developing flocks of hard ,commercial producing animals that lasted a long time and who's offspring flesh easily from pasture only ,
We sell in excess of 80 rams every year ,usually to regular buyers straight off the farm with only a few offered for sale usually through local traditional type sale rings like Wilton , where we have quite a regular following, our customers often top the fat markets with offspring from our stock on a regular basis
We dont tend to sell at society events these days due to the amount of hard feeding required to compete with the rest , along with costs and time involved .
