A day's partridge shooting for 250 birds in the valleys of the Linhope Estate for up to eight guns on 16th September 2026.

A 300 bird day for eight guns at Prescombe Estate on the Wiltshire/ Dorset Border on 28th September 2026.

We have been humbled by the generosity of the rural community who have donated so many amazing products and experiences to the Eat Wild Countryside Auction. Many shooting grounds have got involved and donated the below clay pigeon shooting experiences;

· Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds - A morning's shooting for four followed by a rifle cinema experience and lunch.

· EJ Churchill at West Wycombe, Swinton Estate and Seals Cove - Half a day's shooting for four at each location.

· West London Shooting School - A course of three lessons and a days' simulated game shooting for two at Great Tew.

· Barbury Shooting School - A course of six lessons.

· Lady's Wood Shooting School - A days' simulated game shooting for two.

· Bisley Shooting Ground - A one hour clay shooting lesson for two.

· Hownhall Shooting - A 90 minute joint shooting lesson

· Eaton Hall Shooting Ground - Two 50 clay have a go sessions

· Bisley Pay & Play - Choose from shooting for two guests at Surrey or Braidwood.

To celebrate the start of the grouse season we are sharing one of our most popular dishes 'Pan Fried Grouse'. Served with pretty purple carrots, a simple puree, and creamy Albert sauce, this lightly herby, pan-fried grouse looks like something straight from a restaurant kitchen. You’ll need to set a bit of time aside, but it’s easy to cook.
