This week, we are making a special delivery🚛

We are donating Spadger Bird Seed bags and feeders to Ashbeach Primary School so the children can see wildlife from their classrooms🐦

It’s great to be able to give back to our local community and encourage young people to appreciate the wildlife in the Fens🌳

This weekend we are taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch 2026🐦

On Friday 23 - Sunday 25 January, we will spend an hour recording the birds that visit our garden. This helps the RSPB gain valuable insight into how garden birds are faring.

And…we will be using our Spadger Bird Seed to feed the birds that visit our garden.

You can get your own Spadger Bird Seed mix at Ruby Ruth’s Country Barn in time for this weekend🌾

More changes to the sunflower field🚜

This field is getting ready for a different crop next year.

Firstly, we use discs to bury the storks. Then, we drill the wheat which will be ready in August 2026🌾

Where did all my sunflowers go?🌻

The sunflower field looks very different at the moment but Basil looks just as cute🐶

This field will be drilled for winter wheat tomorrow🌾

The sunflowers will be moving fields for next year. We have to do this because of the risk of disease effecting them🌻

It’s all about rotation!
