Weir Farms

09/10/2026

🐮 The youngest members of Weir Farms were enjoying a wee bit of playtime!

There’s nothing quite like watching wee calves skipping about, kicking up their heels and exploring together! Plenty of new faces around Weirs Farm as autumn calving keeps the team busy. 🚜🌾

We caught a few of them on camera, along with a wee look inside the milking parlour! 🥛

The team are trialling Frazers CalfSTIM as part of their calf management routine, with the aim of giving these new arrivals the best possible start.

Curious about CalfSTIM? We’re happy to call out to your farm, talk you through the product and answer your questions.

Great to have a few of the team from Frazers Animal Feeds out to the farm this week to chat all things calves and find out more about their new CalfSTIM product! 🐮

With plenty of new arrivals on the ground, giving every calf the best possible start is our priority💪🍼

🐮 New arrivals at Weir Farms—and Frazers CalfSTIM on trial!

We were out visiting Weirs Farm, a local family-run dairy farm on the outskirts of Rathfriland, County Down. 🚜

With a predominantly autumn-calving herd, there are plenty of new arrivals on the farm! They’re trialling Frazers CalfSTIM as part of their calf management routine, with the aim of giving their calves the best possible start. 🐮

Developed in collaboration with Lallemand Animal Nutrition and Trouw Nutrition, CalfSTIM is a new addition to The Frazers Group range, and we’re keen to introduce it to more local farmers.

Interested in CalfSTIM for your farm? We can call out, explain the product, talk you through how to use it and answer your questions.

Silage 2026 Over & Out! 🌱🚜

It’s been a busy week here at the farm getting our fourth and final cut of silage safely into the pit!

All this grass will now be preserved and fed to our cows throughout the winter months, keeping them well fed when they’re tucked up indoors. 🐄🌱

Another big job ticked off the list for 2026! ✅
