❤️ A Very Difficult Announcement from Taste of Genoa ❤️

After four amazing years, we have made the very difficult decision to close Taste of Genoa at the end of September.

Our last market will be Spencers Wood Market Sunday 20th September, and it will be a very emotional one for us.

Taste of Genoa has been so much more than just a small business. Over the last four years, we have made so many wonderful friends, created so many special memories, and met so many lovely people along the way.

We are incredibly grateful to every single person who has ordered from us, visited us at the markets, recommended us to friends and family, and taken the time to leave us such lovely reviews. ❤️

Running a small food business alongside both working full time, with Gab working away and with the ever-increasing costs of ingredients and running the business has become increasingly difficult. Our time is precious, and after a lot of thought, we feel that for now, we simply can’t continue.

Quality and cost have always been so important to us. We have never wanted to compromise on the quality of our ingredients or the food we produce, and we feel this is the right decision for us at this point in our lives.

We genuinely hope that one day we may be able to reopen Taste of Genoa. Never say never! 🇮🇹❤️

But for now, if you’d like to fill up your freezer with your favourite Italian dishes, please do get in touch. We’ll be taking orders over the coming weeks and would love to cook for you one last time before we close.

And of course, we would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible at our final market on Sunday 20th September.

☀️ Summer Update from Taste of Genoa ☀️

As many of you know, we won’t be attending any markets over the summer, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on your favourite homemade Italian dishes! 🇮🇹

Whether you’re looking to stock up your freezer for those busy days or need something delicious for family get togethers and summer evenings, we’re still taking orders.

From lasagna and gnocchi to pizza, focaccia, pesto, and more, everything is made from scratch using quality ingredients and no preservatives.

Update for the 19th ❤️

We’re really sad to say that the Spencer’s Wood Market on the 19th has now been cancelled.

We were looking forward to seeing everyone, so it’s disappointing not to be there as planned.

However, we will still be cooking as normal, so if you were hoping to enjoy some of our food, you can still place an order and arrange to pick up from us.

Our full range of dishes is still available, so please do send us a message if there’s anything you’d like to order. We’d love to still be able to provide you with some delicious homemade Italian food.

Although it was a quieter market, perhaps because of the lovely sunny weather and Father’s Day, we were so pleased to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones too.
