❤️ A Very Difficult Announcement from Taste of Genoa ❤️

After four amazing years, we have made the very difficult decision to close Taste of Genoa at the end of September.

Our last market will be Spencers Wood Market Sunday 20th September, and it will be a very emotional one for us.

Taste of Genoa has been so much more than just a small business. Over the last four years, we have made so many wonderful friends, created so many special memories, and met so many lovely people along the way.

We are incredibly grateful to every single person who has ordered from us, visited us at the markets, recommended us to friends and family, and taken the time to leave us such lovely reviews. ❤️

Running a small food business alongside both working full time, with Gab working away and with the ever-increasing costs of ingredients and running the business has become increasingly difficult. Our time is precious, and after a lot of thought, we feel that for now, we simply can’t continue.

Quality and cost have always been so important to us. We have never wanted to compromise on the quality of our ingredients or the food we produce, and we feel this is the right decision for us at this point in our lives.

We genuinely hope that one day we may be able to reopen Taste of Genoa. Never say never! 🇮🇹❤️

But for now, if you’d like to fill up your freezer with your favourite Italian dishes, please do get in touch. We’ll be taking orders over the coming weeks and would love to cook for you one last time before we close.

And of course, we would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible at our final market on Sunday 20th September.

Sad news for our summer markets unfortunately. We really wanted to have the market on all year round but commitments change during the summer and we completely respect that. Providing an enjoyable experience for everyone is our highest priority and we look forward to welcoming traders and visitors back in September.
