The wife dragged us all pumpkin picking yesterday afternoon!

Thankfully, it was at the brilliant Pontac Pumpkins over in New Marske.

We managed to avoid getting too muddy and the weather was spot on all day! ☀️🎃

Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something to do with the family in the run-up to Halloween! 👻

Before pumpkin picking became an Instagram trend… we were already doing it. 🎃

And TODAY, we're opening our gates for our 10th year!

As Teesside's original family pumpkin patch, we've spent the last decade welcoming families, watching little ones grow up and seeing familiar faces return year after year.

And we just want to say a massive THANK YOU. 🧡

To everyone who's supported us over the years, told their friends about us or made Pontac part of their family's autumn traditions, it really does mean the world to us.

We're a family-run pumpkin patch, and we like to keep things simple. Good old-fashioned pumpkin picking, fresh air, beautiful sea views and quality time together.

It’s been a tough year for growing, but after months of hard graft, early starts and plenty of worrying about the weather, Teesside’s original family pumpkin patch is finally ready for you!

Nobody remembers the rain. Everyone remembers the moment. 🧡

If we’ve learned anything in ten years, it’s that the muddiest days are always the best ones.

Hoods up, wellies on and a whole field of pumpkins by the sea, with a hot drink from The Shiba Bean waiting to warm you up afterwards.

We’re open weekends from 17th October and every day of half term (until 30th).

It’s just £12 for the whole car (not per person), with £10 of that coming off your pumpkins. So come rain or shine and make some memories!

Just in case people think we are not doing pumpkins this year.

WE DEFINITELY ARE

We had thought about doing public planting. This was only a thought and the weather turned against us.

We have the pumpkins planted for this coming Halloween 🎃🎃

Afternoon

🎃 After the rain we had last Week which saturated the pumpkin field. We have decided that it would not work for planting pumpkins for our pumpkin pickers.

Sorry if you were hoping we would run this for this year. 🎃

Just having a think and wondering if people would be interested in paying to plant their own pumpkin and we look after it until they are ready to pick?
We have the plants here now.
What would a reasonable cost
