Footprints Community Cafe is a project of Footprints in the Community, helping to reduce poverty and isolation and improve health and wellbeing in the Redcar area. You'll find our cafe at 14A High Street, Redcar. We offer tasty and affordable home-cooking in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere

. You'll find a choice of hot meals, snacks, cakes and barista-style hot drinks to eat in or take away. Telephone orders are welcome. Our Pay it Forward Scheme allows our customers to buy an drink or snack for someone who is unable to pay for themselves. Please make your donation at the till. We look forward to welcoming you soon. Due to a flood in the cafe, we currently have no electricity. Help is on the way, but unfortunately we will be temporarily closed, until our electricity is restored. We will post again once we are able to reopen. Thank you for your patience 🙂

Some exciting free events in the cafe to look forward to, arranged by our Community Wellbeing Partnership CWP project.

Exciting times for Footprints Community Cafe!! We are setting up our first history sessions! Kicking off with local historian Gary Guess on 24 June, Gary has amassed a fascinating collection of photos and memories, particularly of the military history of the area and mining in Upleatham. This will be followed up by a talk with Chris Corbett from Teesside Archives who will tell us about the archives and its contents. The sessions are open to anyone and we would love for you to pop in to hear our speakers and contribute your own memories, memorabilia, photos, etc.
