Continue to give the national free school meals vouchers. These vouchers are vital for some parents on low incomes but the Government has now ended the scheme.

We would like to send out a few thank you's this week.

Gymphobics Redditch for their continued support with food donations from your lovely members. We appreciate you!

Chrissy T at Asda Redditch for your kindness and absolutely vital support in all that we do from helping with food, wrapping paper and even giving your time when you can to help us out down at storage. You will have to pencil us in one day soon and I can drag you round with me doing our shed/stock checks.

Redditch Police for all their help and support putting a case together against someone who was repeatedly targeting our food banks in the middle of the night. Restraining order secured in court yesterday and a custodial sentence for the offender. Thanks also to Claire M for being in attendance at court to give evidence.

On that note thank you also to Brian, Stella and the team at Antolin, Moons Moat for getting the damaged door fixed. We have now been able to reopen that site after a long time of it being closed so if you are in the Winyates area and need our help you no longer have to go all the way to Church Hill if Moons Moat is closer to you.

Thank you also to all who nominated us at the Chamber of Commerce awards and for a lovely evening last night. We are absolutely honoured to have been short listed for an award and to have spent the evening with you guys. This year wasn't our year to win but we are so thankful for your continued support.

If you are able to donate any of these items, you are very welcome to contact us and we can direct you to your closest drop off point in Redditch. 🌈🏃‍♀️ RUN FOR A REASON 🏃‍♂️🌈

We're excited to announce that Friends of Isaac's Food Bank will be taking part in the Inflatable 5K Community Challenge on Saturday 25th July 2026 at the University of Warwick!

Our team will be bouncing, sliding, climbing and laughing their way around the world's biggest inflatable obstacle course to raise vital funds for local families in need.

Every year, Friends of Isaac's Food Bank provides around 5,000 food parcels through our six collection sites, ensuring support is available 365 days a year for people facing hardship. As demand continues to rise, fundraising events like this help us continue providing essential food and support to those who need it most.

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is almost upon us.

We have some special thank you's to go out today for some of the fabulous support we have received this week.

Tenpin Redditch, thank you for the wonderful food donation.

Activate Nutrition, thank you for the offer of a new donation point.

Nisa Local in Abbeydale, thank you for your monetary donation.

Farmfoods Redditch, thank you for agreeing to help support us again with any unsold items that can go out into our local community.

Our foodbanks have again seen an increase this month on visitor numbers from this time last year. More and more people are feeling the pinch of the cost of living increases and we are here to support as best we can with free emergency food for people who are at crisis point.

We are so lucky and our thank you post this morning reflects what a wonderful thing working together can be for our community whether that is financial assistance, food donations, teddies for our tombolas or even just sharing and commenting our posts so people know where to come for help... We thank you all and are grateful for you!
