🚨 UPDATE ON THE NO POWER SITUATION 🚨

Good news you lovely lot… National Grid have installed a generator, so we now have electricity! 🙌⚡ Thank goodness!

That means we will be back OPEN tomorrow as normal, 8am till 3pm 🥩🔪 Everything is good to go and we’ll be ready to welcome you all back!

There is still a bigger issue we are waiting on though. Because of the oak tree right outside the shop, they are not allowed to dig anywhere near it 🌳, so we are currently waiting for a decision on what happens next.

We promise to keep you all updated as soon as we know more.

Again, we are really sorry if we let anyone down today. Unfortunately, the situation was completely out of our hands. We apologise for any inconvenience and want to say a massive thank you for your patience, understanding and support ❤️

⚡ POWER CUT UPDATE ⚡

Unfortunately, we will remain closed today as we are still without power at the shop.

National Grid have been out to investigate and have located a break in the underground cable, just 13 metres away from the shop.

They are currently sourcing a generator for us, and thanks to their hard work, we are hoping to be back open tomorrow as normal, 8am–3pm. 🤞

A huge thank you to National Grid for coming out so quickly, locating the issue, sourcing a generator, and working so hard to get us back up and running.

For a small business, having to close unexpectedly has a real impact, so their quick response and hard work means a lot to us. ❤️

Thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding.

We’ll see you tomorrow from 8am! ☕️

⚡️ POWER CUT! ⚡️

Unfortunately, due to a power cut, our shop will not be open this morning while we wait for engineers from National Grid to attend.

As you can see in the video, I was halfway through getting this weekend’s deals ready when the power decided to give up on me… 🙈😂

Excuse my language — I think the situation caught me by surprise! 🤦‍♀️😂

We’ll keep you updated as and when we can, and hopefully we’ll be back up and running as soon as possible.

A huge congratulations to the entire Tan & Glam team! 👏✨

We would like to recognise all the hard work, dedication and effort that has gone into completely rebranding your shop. The transformation, from the new layout to the fresh new style, is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to everyone involved.

We wish you every success with your opening this evening and hope it is a wonderful celebration of all the hard work that has gone into creating your new look. We’re sure the finished result will be absolutely fantastic!

It’s wonderful to see local businesses continuing to invest in and improve our community. We should all be proud to support the brilliant businesses along Batchley Road and continue to shop local whenever we can.
