Some pictures from today, and a surprise harvest of sweet potatoes, I had no idea they had grown so well under the soil! And some lovely corns, the not so lovely ones were enjoyed by the pigs!

This was the youngest of our ewes to have a lamb, she had only just turned 1 year old herself. What a fantastic mum she has been and her lamb loves her so much too.

And this lamb marks the end of our lambing season. What a fantastic time despite all the late night and early morning checks, learning to tube feed, the hours spent sitting in a pen with them making sure lambs are feeding well, but hours of enjoyment watching them grow and seeing the ewes love and bond with their lambs 😍

A change from farm jobs- a morning sea glass hunting on a lovely sunny day. Girls are so happy with what they found today. Next they want to learn how to make it into jewellery!

Pretty little icicles, but keeping water going to the animals has been hard work this week, We have had to take water from home in containers to fill the troughs up 🥶

So lovely to see these two relaxing together today. They both have been enjoying massages behind their ears and now so chilled. Maybe they do love each other after all! Let’s hope for some piglets in a few months time!!
