Day 3 of

A look back on how far we’ve come.

I think we’d just put the skin on the poly tunnel in the first picture. An awful day if I remember it right, but this picture makes it feel less horrible 😂

Then … today - snapped as I left to head home. ♥️

What a journey it’s been.

Me again! I’ll continue to pop up whilst I fly the flag for 🌸

More news from me and my patch of flowers.

As well as my first PYO happening on Saturday, I’m opening the flower stall at the farm gate for the first time.

It will be open this week on Friday 19th & Saturday 20th, with freshly picked bunches.
Payments can be made with cash, or card by scanning a QR code.

My long suffering husband, Joe spent a few weekends building this for me … then painting it (and giving my work shed a couple of coats) “I might as well whilst I’m at it” … then tweaking when we realised our initial idea of a movable cart setup wasn’t going to work... then transporting … then digging out a base and laying slabs … you get the picture

So - I’ll urge you on my behalf to swing by and grab a bunch.

But if you can’t bring yourself do it for me, do it for Joe. 💐

It’s and you’re invited to join me at the farm this Saturday 20th for a special PYO day.

It’s really easy to book on my website, I’ll pop a link in the stories too.

Share with your friends and help me spread the word to ensure I’m not a lonely twit in a field of flowers! 🫣🌸🫣

Will I see you there?

I’ve been at ground level this week, hands in the soil - planting.

Lots done, but lots still to do.

The weather has thrown what it can at me, I’ve been soaked through more than once.

This week - planting has been my focus.
Next week - it’ll be weeding, deadheading and clearing
In preparation for welcoming my PYO guests on 20th.

There are still tickets left if you’d like to come and explore for yourself. Spaces are limited, choose your time slot and book ahead to avoid disappointment.

This morning the harvest is in and you’re in for a treat!

Just a happy accident 💙💕

There’s so many gorgeous flowers to choose from right now, making bouquets is a pleasure.

FYI I did have to get changed before delivering, no one wants me with my mucky knees out standing on their doorstep.

I am swimming through flowers at the moment, with the warm spells we’ve had, the field has just burst into life and I’m excited to share the events coming up this month…

firstly - Creake Abbey farmers market on 6th June.
9:30am - 1pm - I’ll be filling my stall with the best of the field so do come along and bag a bunch.

then - 20th June - my first PYO event at the farm.
This is in celebration of British Flowers Week 15th -21st June and I’m ready to shout about the benefits of choosing flowers grown here in the UK and invite you to come and explore the flowers yourself.

Finally - 27th June - a wonderful workshop in Salle village.
Come and emerge yourself in flowers with me. There will be a generous bucket of blooms waiting for all attendees and no rules to follow. You’ll be invited to create as you wish and I can’t wait to see the results. Obviously there’s cake too!

Tickets are available for PYO and workshops on my website.

If these are well received, there’ll be more to come.
