🚜 Who are we?
The Food Fix – your friendly roadside food stop near Ripon Racecourse.

🍔 What do we do?
Freshly made breakfast and lunch butties, great coffee, and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

📍 Where are we?
At the Ripon Racecourse lay-by, easy to find and with plenty of parking.

🕒 When are we open?
Wednesday to Friday: 8:00am – 1:30ish
Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00ish

❤️ Why do we do it?
Because we believe good food doesn’t have to be complicated. We use quality, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, cook everything fresh to order, and aim to create a friendly, welcoming place where everyone feels at home.

Whether you’re passing through, working locally, or one of our wonderful regulars, we look forward to seeing you!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us this week. We absolutely love seeing familiar faces returning and meeting new customers who share our appreciation for good quality, locally sourced food cooked fresh 🥓

🚜 Public Service Announcement 🚜

Due to unprecedented demand, Friday saw the Great Bread Bun Shortage of 2026. We made it through with just one bread bun remaining 😱🙈

The weather may be looking a bit questionable, but the coffee is hot, the grill is on, and Tractor Fest is in full swing.

If you’re heading to admire the tractors, why not swing by and say hello? We have plenty of parking for any tractors 🚜

We can also confirm that bread bun stocks have now been replenished. 😎🥓☕

We’re open today (Saturday) until 2ish 🚜😎

⛽️ Belinda Burco Update ⛽️

So, she developed a mysterious bit of dust/something-or-other in a place that definitely shouldn’t have dust/something-or-other. That was fixed, however…

After a thorough investigation, it turns out she was missing a few screws. Apparently that’s a pre-requisite to work here… 👀😂

The good news is we’re still up and running! We’ve got flasks of hot water on standby and the kettle is working overtime, so your teas, coffees and hot chocolates are safe. ☕️💪

Morning FoodFixers ☕️

Bad news… Belinda the Burco has decided she is not a team player today and appears to have gone on strike 🙈😂

BUT… don’t panic, Captain Mainwaring! We’ve got Plan B in action 💪

Flasks are filled, although we helpfully forgot to pack the kettle but we’ll still be serving hot drinks ☕️😎

Safe to say Belinda is officially NOT in the running for Employee of the Week this week… 🤣🏆

Thank you for bearing with us while our diva employee has a little moment 😂 She will hopefully be back in action next week 🤞

Morning FoodFixers 💛

Well… the weather has definitely woken up on the dramatic side today 🌧️⛈️ It’s absolutely peeing down here, thunder rumbling, puddles everywhere and we’re half expecting Noah to float past at this point 🤣

But don’t worry — we’re here as always, kettle on ☕️ breakfast sizzling 🥓 and trying to pretend summer hasn’t temporarily packed its bags!

If you fancy avoiding cooking in a cold, soggy kitchen (or just escaping the rain for five minutes), come and say hello 💛

Another week ticked off at The Food Fix 😎

Sold out of bacon, sausages and bread today 🫠😂

It’s been a fabulous week — including 20 German motorbikes rocking up on Wednesday! We somehow got by with broken English, smiles and plenty of thumbs up 🇩🇪👍

Today we had some lovely caravanners bring their own chairs and sit in the sunshine… I must admit, we were very jealous 😎☀️

Employee of the week has to go to Mr Food Fix for cooking in what felt like tropical temperatures this week 🔥🥓 (while I mostly complained about being warm 🤣)

A huge thank you to everyone supporting us 💞 Around 80% of our customers are now returners or have been recommended, which makes it all worthwhile. We really do appreciate every one of you ❤️
