Had a couple of weeks off for various reasons but back with a bang this week!
The bbq is back out despite some dubious looking rain clouds gathering.
On the menu some delicious Turners Of Rishworth ribeye steaks, served with marinated prawns, new potatoes and a homemade chimichuri sauce. This was a first for this weeks special guest (Mrs Nās lovely mum) who had never tried it before.
With this old skool surf & turf was a bottle we recently showed at our Joostenberg Wine Estate tasting. The superb āKlippe Kouā estate Syrah. The literal translation of āKlippe Kouā is chewing rocks, an indication of the terrain that this Syrah grows in. The plums, blackberry, violet and peppery notes matched up perfectly to and itās a wine that keeps you going back for another glass. At just Ā£24 a bottle it is unbelievable value for money.
