Henry Jeffreys described it as "pale colour but lots of Pinot character. Jammy strawberry fruit on the nose. Mouth-watering freshness, meaty, firm and full-bodied. A pink with real character."

Hand-picked from our clay, sand and silt soils here in East Sussex, this is a w**e that speaks very clearly of where it comes from.

Recognition like this means a great deal to us.

Have you ever tasted a w**e and wondered exactly how it came to be in your glass?

At Oastbrook, we can show you. Our vineyard tours and tastings are led by America and Nick 0 the people who plant the vines, tend the grapes and make every w**e you will taste on the day. It is an intimate, hands-on experience that takes you from the vineyard all the way through to the w**ery, finishing with a guided tasting of four of our award-winning w**es alongside a cheese platter.

With just a few weekends remaining before we transition to our w**ery tours in November, now is a beautiful time to visit - the vines are turning and the estate is at its most atmospheric.

Harvest is in. 🍇

A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers - including so many of our W**e Club members - who came and spent the day with us in the vines this year. It truly would not have been the same without you.

The fruit has come in at exceptional quality and we are really excited about what this vintage has in store. There is something about harvest that reminds us exactly why we do what we do - the energy on the estate, the satisfaction of seeing the grapes come in, and the knowledge that something really special is about to begin in the w**ery.

October is one of the most beautiful times to visit Oastbrook and there are just a few weekends left to join us for a vineyard tour and tasting before we move inside for the season.

Led by owners and w**emakers America and Nick, our tours take you through the vines, tell the story of the estate, and show you exactly how our Sussex sparkling and still w**es are made from the ground up. We finish with a guided tasting of four of our award-winning w**es alongside a cheese platter - and you are welcome to stay on afterwards to enjoy a glass or two at your own pace.

From November we transition to our w**ery tours and tastings, bringing the experience indoors so whatever the season, there is always a reason to visit Oastbrook.

Just a short journey from Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings and London, our East Sussex estate is easy to reach; whether you are driving through the Sussex countryside or hopping on a train to Robertsbridge and jumping in a taxi from there.

We are just a short taxi ride from Robertsbridge station, making it the perfect stress-free day out - no designated driver needed.
Once you arrive, there is every reason to stay a little longer.

Our Sparkling Cuvée 2018 is a w**e that captures everything we love about English sparkling.

Bright refreshing acidity balanced by a surprisingly smooth palate. Complex aromas of wildflowers, apple blossom, green apple, fleshy pears, white peach, apricot and nectarine - with subtle notes of baked pear, toffee apples and autolytic hints of brioche. On the palate, a beautiful balance of freshness and ripeness, with a smooth and long lasting finish of green apple and ripe pears.

Awarded a Gold medal at this year's W**eGB Awards - we are very proud of this w**e.

She highlights our full day harvest experience, lunch in the w**ery, and notes that Oastbrook has previously been voted one of the best w**eries in Europe.
Our first harvest date is this Sunday - and there are more dates available throughout September. No experience needed - just enthusiasm, a good pair of gardening gloves, sturdy shoes and a water bottle.

No experience needed - just enthusiasm, a good pair of gardening gloves, sturdy shoes and a water bottle. We will show you everything you need to know, and lunch in the w**ery is included as part of the day.

Please do bear in mind we can only pick on dry days, as the vines accumulate water after rain which affects the sugar levels of the grapes. We will give you as much notice as possible if we need to reschedule.

We are delighted to be pouring our w**es at one of the most characterful events on the East Sussex coast — a brilliant celebration of food, w**e and live music running today through to Sunday 13th September.

We have added more harvest volunteer dates.

If you would like to join us in the vineyard, we have opened up September 24th and 25th, as well the 28th and 29th - a truly rewarding day alongside fellow w**e lovers in one of the most beautiful settings we know.
