Littleborough set up this morning ……loads of variety including Turbot, Hake, Brill, Halibut, squid, XL scallops. Here till 12.30pm then the Oxford pub car-park 1pm - 1.45pm ……and we will be OPEN as normal next Good Friday !!!

Christmas order forms are now available from the stall and the delivery Van 🎄🦞🐟🐟

You can fill in a form and hand back or message me your order, all the usual contact details, normal fish stock will be available as usual Christmas week up to the 19th but best to order, All smoked Salmons will be dated till January. Fish can be individually packed to freeze, for a nice change after all the turkey, we are aiming to return Tuesday Jan 6th subject to fish availability.

With just over a month to go it's about time we started getting excited for the jewel in the crown of our year of big events.

Saturday August 16th is our very first Seafood & Champagne festival & what a day have we got lined up for you. We’ll not have it said that we don’t have something for everyone at The Oxofrd, with a full line up of sparking wines from Kwoff & an even more impressive selection of fresh seafood from Dan & Dan at Fishop Fishmonger this could be our most excellent adventure yet.

From English Sparking Wines to Bottles of Bolly, Oysters to seafood platters, we're pulling out all the stops in our most over the top day out yet.

What could make it even better you ask? Well we've been looking at our calendar & thinking it needs a little of the ol' razzle dazzle & if we can't dust off our fancy pants for a Champagne festival then when can we?! So consider this your one month warning that this a dress to impress situation, think ladies day, think being at a wedding all day, I want to see hats, I want to see floor length dresses in a carpark, I want to see tuxedos, I want to see who wins best dressed I'll be honest. We've got some wonderful people coming interviewing for those who want to show off their outfits to the world. Because when do we ever get chance to get dressed up these days?

Now add to all this, it's free to attend just like always, we've a beautiful friend of ours Gian Luca kicking out some sweet crooning classics in the afternoon then fresh from Glastonbury the magnificent Bossa Dos Patos, a full blown bossa nova band playing us out in the most sophisticated day Shawclough has ever seen.

Reminder only 2 more weeks open till Christmas!! please fill in your Christmas order forms this week and hand them back or message your order, and make sure you plan to have some to put some in the freezer !! As we are closed for 3 weeks this year !!
