Bassett's Bakes I have completed my level 2 in Food Safety. I am also fully insured, registered with my local council and have always maintained a 5* hygiene rating.

I have always enjoyed baking but didn't make my first proper celebration cake until my twin sons' 2nd birthday...

This was a very special one for me😍 One of my best girlies asked me to make a gender reveal cake for her and her husband to share with their family. My first ever one of these cakes and an honour to be a part of such an exciting day! This was designed by the Mum to-be and was both gluten and dairy free vanilla flavoured cake and buttercream. As you can see by the bright blue sponge, it’s a boy!💙 Congratulations Nat, Matt and family🥳 We are so excited for you all🥰

It was so tricky getting a decent photo of this one because the lighting wasn’t good! But I absolutely loved making this cake for a special 70th birthday celebration. An afternoon tea themed cake for a lady who likes purple. A classic combination of vanilla sponge with a buttercream and strawberry jam filling. The decorations were completed with a tiny fondant tealight candle with a working light🍰💜 .

If you’re looking for an alternative to a fondant cake but want a personal touch this can be ordered in a variety of different flavours and can include coordinating ribbon and a topper with the wording of your choice. A family themed cake for a lovely lady celebrating her 40th birthday and jungle themed cupcakes for a gorgeous little boy’s 1st birthday. Rich chocolate sponge with creamy chocolate buttercream for both because who can resist double chocolate?!😋
