Fresh bars dropped off at Store 104 today.

We’ve been working with them as a wholesale partner for a little while now, and it’s always good seeing Trufflus out in the wild.

This batch includes our 70% Ghanaian bean-to-bar dark chocolate — currently a Taste of Kent Awards finalist.

If you’re local, you can now pick one up from Store 104.

And if you run an independent shop, deli or other business and think Trufflus could be a good fit for your shelves, I’d love to hear from you.

I'm very excited to announce that both of my entries into this year's Taste of Kent Awards have made it to the final round.

I have two products in two different categories:

Roasted hazelnut & cocoa spread for Sweet Pantry

70% Ghanaian dark chocolate bar for Confectionary

The award ceremony is on October the 8th and I'll find it where they placed in the category in the night. Exciting times! 🎉🎉🎉

Last week I stepped out of the kitchen and hosted a guided chocolate tasting.

I was definitely a bit nervous beforehand. I’m used to being behind the scenes where I can make, test, pack and overthink chocolate in private. So getting into a room and talking people through what I experience daily felt like an important step.

But honestly, it was such a lovely evening.

People slowed down, tasted properly, asked great questions, and shared what they were noticing. There was lots of really nice conversations and feedback shared.

Thank you so much to everyone who came and made the experience feel so warm, relaxed and worthwhile.

It was a small step, but an important one both personally and for where I want to take Trufflus next.
