At The Hive we don’t believe salads are just a summer or warm weather thing. Our salad bar is available all year with fresh, cafe made salads.

We have been looking at introducing a new salad, and we have finally come up with one, perfect for the summer. If it proves popular it will stay on the menu all year 🐝

Introducing our black rice, pea and radish salad.

Black rice is a whole grain which has a lovely nutty flavour. Plus it’s full of antioxidants, protein, fibre and essential minerals.

With the addition of vitamin packed peas and radishes and topped with pomegranate seeds (which is a superfruit), this salad not only tastes amazing but is also doing your body some good too 😁

As we everything we serve, our salads are available to eat in or take away. If you would like to buy our salads in bulk for a party or event please contact us directly via messenger.

Exam Season Opening Hours

Exam season 2026 has well and truly started. And this year the kids of team LBB and the Hive are taking part, which means that we will be opening at 9.30am on the following days:

15th / 16th / 21st May
3rd / 4th / 5th / 10th May

We want to wish everyone all the best of luck for their exams.

Always remember this is one rung of your ladder and it is only important to get you to the next rung of your ladder. Everyone’s ladder has a different destination so just focus on where you are going and what you need to get there 🍀🍀

It might be bank holiday Monday but we are open and celebrating all things May the 4th.

Due to the on going trade wars, we have had our usual supply of Bantha blue milk from Tatooine stopped.

However, we have made our own version just for today’s celebrations 🎉 a wonderful blend of ice cream, coconut milk and passion fruit

Caramel cake, topped with dulce du leche buttercream and chocolate cornflakes

Small change in opening hours today and tomorrow 🐝

To allow the boss a couple of days off to recharge her batteries, we have slightly shorter opening hours today and tomorrow.

We will still be open serving the best coffee and teas this side of Romsey, as well as all your lunchtime favourites, between 9.30am and 2.30pm today and tomorrow. Wednesday onwards we will@be back to our usual opening hours

With the clocks going forward and the temperatures rising. The Hive is back to its Summer Saturday opening times of 9am to 4pm.
