Definitely a Sunday special… our fudge yogurt 💛 Have you seen it when out and about?

This is definitely a local favourite as well as Granny’s 😘

As we live in the North East of Scotland and it is windy and sometimes cold, everyone loves a ‘fine piece’ or a ‘sweet treat’ as they say - so this is our answer to this craving.

But definitely not for everyday - just a Sunday thing 😂😂 or even better used as a topping for our local raspberries or strawberries.

Do note… it is NOT available in Sainsburys or Asda only farmshops and delis and even then mostly in the North East 💛

It is also still very much made with the very best of our biolive natural yogurt with just a little fudge sauce mixed in ⭐️

Bruce and I just had a wonderful week in the East Neuk of Fife, one of my favourite places in Scotland. Check out this moon 💛

A must is always a trip to Ardross Farm Shop | Local Food & Produce | East Neuk | Fife - where they have an amazing array of local food and their own home grown produce and we had the extra bonus of spotting our kefir 😊

Whilst there we even bumped into the wonderful delivery driver from The Cress Co and throughout the week we obviously spent time hanging out in The Ship Inn Elie with lots of friends.

MILK IS BACK💛💛💛

Our organic, non-homogenised whole milk is now available in our farm shop every weekend - Friday to Sunday - and this time it’s in glass!

If you’re local to us or visiting Aberdeenshire, pop into the rora dairy farm shop and fill up from our milk machine 😎

Our lovely cows produce truly scrumptious milk, complete with the perfect cream-top 🐄🥛

Pick up one of our beautiful new rora dairy glass bottles, fill it with fresh milk and bring it back to refill next time ♻️

And while you’re at it, there’s plenty of delicious yogurt in the fridge too…

Gosh you were a treat! 💛

Our first visit, but definitely not our last.

Bruce and I disappeared off to completely different talks, which meant twice as many ideas to bring home.

A few of my highlights…

🌱 ‘Bang in the Beans’ – did you know only 4% of UK adults eat enough fibre? Such a simple message, but an important one. Beans, pulses and porridge really are worth enjoying for the good of your health!! Thank you .school.emma Joshua from and for sharing the bean chat - definitely one we will adopt on the farm and cooking 💛

🦠 I loved listening to and .parton.12 exploring the links between soil health and gut health. Different subjects, but all biology. As someone who makes yoghurt and kefir, I’d like to think my gut is reasonably happy! But always good to think what more we can do.

🦋 Time well spent with the talking hedgerows, trees, birds and butterflies. There’s always something new to learn about improving biodiversity on the farm.

The day ended with a beautiful dinner in a converted barn, surrounded by fellow farmers. The wonderful menu included the super tasty with olive oil, alongside delicious beef from our hosts

It was also fascinating to hear and share their journey alongside Charlotte from on her priorities for sustainability. Good to have supermarkets present and be part of the chat.

Perhaps my biggest takeaway, though, was listening to so many farmers honestly share what they’re seeing. The changing climate, the legacy of years of chemicals on soils, and the determination to leave the land healthier than they found it. Those conversations felt every bit as important as the talks.

Groundswell reminded me that farming is full of people who are curious, generous with their knowledge, and determined to leave the land in a better place. We came home inspired—and that’s exactly what a great event should do. 💛

We also have said ‘goodbye’ to Emma who has been here since she was 15 and very near the start of .

Bruce hosted a group for looking at cow health.
