We are a fast-growing agricultural business seeking a motivated Assistant Poultry Farm Manager to help run one of our successful broiler sites.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive business where you'll receive ongoing training, development and strong support from senior management while building a long-term career in the poultry industry.

🐥 What You'll Be Doing

✅ Daily bird welfare checks: feed, water, housing & ventilation
✅ Maintaining excellent welfare, hygiene & biosecurity standards
✅ Supporting the management of farm staff & contractors
✅ Ordering supplies including feed and fuel
✅ Completing farm records & paperwork accurately
✅ Carrying out basic maintenance of farm & equipment
✅ Working closely with the Farm Manager, vets & wider team
✅ Assisting nearby farms when required
✅ Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
✅ Handling birds humanely & removing mortalities if required

👨‍🌾 What We're Looking For

✔ Previous poultry farming experience (broilers preferred)
✔ Good understanding of bird welfare & compliance standards
✔ Strong communication & organisational skills
✔ Reliable, proactive & able to take ownership of responsibilities
✔ Good attention to detail & record-keeping skills

📋 Essential Requirements

✅ Previous poultry experience
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Own reliable transport
✅ Legal Right to Work in the UK

⭐ Desirable

➕ NVQ in Poultry Production (if you don't have this yet, we'll support you to gain it)
➕ Tractor, Telehandler or Forklift experience/licence
