A huge thank you to Ben at Harmony Coffee Roasters for such an insightful afternoon! ☕️🤎

We learnt so much about the journey of coffee - from how it’s grown and roasted to why every coffee has its own unique flavour, with and without milk. We even got a little taster of barista training too!

As we’re building Gather & Grind, we want to understand coffee from the ground up so we can serve the very best cup possible.

Thank you again, Ben, for sharing your knowledge and genuine passion for coffee. It was an afternoon we’ll definitely remember!✨

Expectation: Turn on the generator, test the electrics - the lights, the fridge and the hot water. 💡🥛✨

Reality: Hook up the battery, top off the oil, fill the petrol, hear that beautiful engine roar… and immediately realise the trailer plug doesn’t even fit the socket. 🫠

At this rate, the coffee trailer is less of a business venture and more of an ongoing comedy sketch. Just another day, another riddle to solve! 🎬⚡️

Anyone got a spare adapter, or should we just start serving cold brew out of a bucket? 🙋‍♂️🪣

Plenty of behind-the-scenes progress, even if it doesn’t look very exciting on camera.

Insurance sorted, safety systems in place, trailer jobs underway and a growing to-do list that’s slowly getting shorter 😂

There’s a lot more to starting a coffee business than making coffee, but every little job gets us closer to launch day.

We honestly don’t know where to start… 🥹☕

When we first reached out to coffee roasters, we never imagined we’d receive this much support, encouragement and generosity.

So many incredible companies have sent samples, advice, kind messages and taken the time to help two people chasing a coffee trailer dream.

We’re genuinely overwhelmed and incredibly grateful.

The hard part now? Choosing who to work with… 👀☕

Friends for 20+ years and now the faces behind Gather & Grind ☕

What started as a simple idea — “shall we start a coffee trailer?” — has quickly turned into something we’re incredibly excited to bring to life.

We’re building more than just a place for great coffee. Gather & Grind is about good energy, friendly faces, and creating a little moment of joy in someone’s day.

WE ARE BUILDING A COFFEE TRAILER! 🛠️☕️🤪

Yep, we’ve officially lost our minds and are refurbishing our dream mobile coffee trailer behind the scenes! We absolutely cannot wait to unleash Gather & Grind onto Rotherham.

We are painting, prepping, and impatiently waiting to install our shiny new espresso machine.

Why are we doing this?
Because life is way too crazy and overwhelming sometimes. We wanted to build a warm, happy little haven where anyone and everyone can pause, laugh, and connect. We promise top-tier coffee, zero judgment, and lots of bad jokes. 👋✨

We are launching at the Bobby Dazzler Yorkshire Events Car Boot on Sunday 26th July!
Come down, say hello, grab an incredible freshly brewed speciality coffee or premium tea, and dive headfirst into our mountain of freshly baked cookies! 🍪💃
