Local meat & game, seasonal fruit and vegetables, local, regional and European cheeses, charcuterie and over 100 food and drink producers from Sussex and Hampshire. With aged, grass-fed Hampshire beef, South Downs lamb & Pork, hogget and mutton, goat and offal, we have the full range of meats cut to order at the butchery counter. Our butchers make sausages from scratch and supply our kitchen. We h

ave game in season, including venison from Stansted Park, wood pigeon, pheasant and partridge. Our seaonal vegetables and fruit are from Chidham and we have local herbs and asparagus, with foraged food from the coast and South Downs. Our deli stocks local cheese, including the award-winning Tunworth Cheese, along with a great selection of Spanish and Italian meats, pesto and olives.

Did you know that local honey may help ease hay fever symptoms? By enjoying honey made from bees in your area, you’re exposing your body to tiny amounts of local pollen—helping build tolerance over time.

Our honey comes from hives right here on the Stansted Estate, carefully looked after by Rachel and her team .1 🐝 These artisan beekeepers manage hives across the South Downs, but the honey we stock in the shop comes directly from the Stansted hives—making it truly local.

Pure, delicious, and straight from the source, it’s perfect drizzled over breakfast or stirred into a soothing tea.
