Lake Roxburgh Orchard

26/10/2026

There’s never any sitting still for Mal! 🌱🍑

He’s been busy planting plums, a new variety of apricots, peach and nectarine crosses, fletto peaches and nectarines and macadamias. There’s always something new happening in the orchard!

Of course, no job is complete without supervision from Onyx and Pluto, who keep a very close eye on all activities. 🐾🐾 Whether they’re actually helping is debatable, but they certainly take their supervisory duties seriously! 😂

It takes plenty of work and forward planning to keep an orchard growing and producing, and Mal is always looking ahead to the next season. 🌳🍑

As this season comes to an end, we just want to say a huge thank you to this year’s fruit pickers. 🍑

It’s been a challenging few months for Mal, and he is incredibly grateful for the way this team stepped up, worked hard, and helped keep everything running smoothly when it really mattered. Their commitment, flexibility, and positive attitude did not go unnoticed.

We’re sad to be saying goodbye to such a great group of people, but we wish each of them all the very best for their future travels and adventures. Thank you for being part of our season - we truly couldn’t have done it without you. 💛
