Our local school has a lovely tradition called the Harvest Gift of Giving ๐Ÿ˜ the children make and deliver gifts to every house in the village, all while dressed up in something farming themed. ๐ŸŒพ ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ ๐ŸŽ
Ours may not have been the most imaginative but he chose to be a farmer with pride, and I couldnt be prouder of him ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿท THE PIGS ARE BACK! ๐Ÿท

Weโ€™re very excited to announce that we have some new arrivals here at Hay Green Farm โ€” and theyโ€™re already settling in beautifully! ๐Ÿ’š

Our new Large White pigs, around 12 weeks old, have arrived on the farm and weโ€™re delighted to welcome them.

Itโ€™s actually a rather special homecomingโ€ฆ itโ€™s been over 40 years since the farm last had pigs! ๐Ÿ–

Pigs were once the main livestock here at Hay Green Farm, so bringing them back feels like a lovely connection to the farmโ€™s history โ€” and weโ€™re so pleased to see them here again.

And thereโ€™s even more exciting newsโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿท The pigs will be included in our Farm School visits throughout October and November, giving children the opportunity to see them up close, learn about how we care for them and discover more about pigs as part of our working farm.
We canโ€™t wait for our visiting children to meet them! ๐Ÿท๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š

Welcome back to Hay Green Farm, piggies!
