Take a look inside our latest 20ft container conversion.

Built for grilling, frying and serving, this unit packs a full commercial setup into one seriously striking space.

From the cream and gold tiled interior and stainless-steel work areas to the large grill, fryers, hot holding and serving counter, every part of the layout has been built around getting food out efficiently.

And with that top sign lighting, it certainly won’t disappear into the crowd when it arrives on site. 👀

Our latest container conversion has officially rolled out. 🚚

Following on from the 20ft container we shared last week, this unit was designed to create a flexible cooking and serving space, complete with dedicated grilling and frying stations, plenty of preparation space, and a layout built around efficiency.

A little while ago, we showed you this one coming together in the workshop… now it’s time for a proper look inside. 👀

This 20ft container conversion has officially reached the finish line and what a transformation it’s been.

From an empty steel container to a fully equipped catering kitchen, ready for its next chapter. Every inch has been planned around how the business will actually operate, with plenty of cooking space, refrigeration, extraction, storage and a large serving area ready for busy trading days.

There are so many details in this build that you just don’t get to appreciate from the outside, so come and have a walk through with us.

Another container finished. Another business getting ready to open its hatch and start serving.

Another container transformation complete! 🎉

We’ve been putting the finishing touches on a couple of container conversions recently, and we’re very pleased to see this 20ft catering unit come together.

From an empty steel container to a fully fitted burger kitchen, complete with cooking equipment, extraction, refrigeration, serving counters and some brilliant finishing details. We especially love the metro tiles with the gold accents and the industrial-style lighting along the serving hatch.

There’s something very satisfying about seeing the journey from that first cut into the container to switching the lights on for the final time.

We’ll be sharing a video of this one over the next few days, as well as its almost twin container build we’ve been working on.

There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing a project come together.

Not that long ago, this was simply a steel shipping container. Today, it's a fully fitted catering unit, almost ready to start its new life serving customers.

We've been putting the finishing touches on a couple of container conversions recently, and this is one of them.

From the initial fabrication and framework through to the electrics, plumbing, equipment and final details, every stage is completed here in our workshop by our team.

We'll be sharing plenty more photos and videos of this build next week, including a closer look at the finished interior, so keep an eye on our page.

We're Hiring – Workshop Team Members Wanted!

We're expanding our team at A. R. Willis Catering Trailers and looking for practical, hands-on people to join us in building custom catering trailers and conversions.

What you'll do:
- Woodwork & kitchen fitting
- Light metalwork (cutting, drilling, fixing)
- Installing plumbing, electrical & gas systems
- Fitting equipment and finishes
- Working alongside our welders on full trailer builds

What we need:
✔ Practical & confident with tools
✔ Experience in carpentry, kitchen fitting, or similar trades preferred
✔ Good attention to detail
✔ Reliable team player
