We are sorry that we will not be able to see you at all at Truro Farmers Market tomorrow due to it being cancelled in very windy conditions.

The good news is that all the stock we had prepared for the market is still available, and we will be bringing extra stock to Helston Farmers Market tomorrow, and you can also purchase items at our farm shop in Ruan Minor which is open until 4pm.

Sorry Truro. Due to wind speeds and the weather tomorrow we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s market on 📍 Lemon Quay.

We’re really proud to be part of such a lovely local community, and we know how many people enjoy getting out for a walk around the countryside with their dogs. 🌿🐾

We wanted to share a bit of awareness about something that might seem harmless, but can have a serious impact on our farm.

This year, we’ve sadly had a number of cows lose their calves. One of the contributing causes is a parasite called Neospora caninum, which can be spread through dog faeces. Even a quick game of fetch or letting a dog off lead in a field can unknowingly put our livestock at risk.

We completely understand that most people don’t mean any harm—but these small actions can have devastating consequences for animal welfare and for our livelihood.

So just a gentle reminder:
• Please keep dogs on leads at all times when near or in fields with livestock
• Always pick up and properly dispose of dog waste
• Stick to public footpaths where they are marked
• If a gate or field is open, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s okay to enter

We’re not looking to point fingers—just to raise awareness and ask for your help in protecting our animals.

🌸🚜 Spring = New Life… in more ways than one! 🐄 👶 💚

It’s that magical time of year again ✨
The fields are waking up 🌱
The calves are arriving 🐮
…and today, we’ve welcomed a VERY exciting new addition to the farm family 👀👇

💚🚜 Our brand new John Deere has officially landed! 🚜💚

Safe to say it’s already got its biggest (and coolest 😎) fan behind the wheel!

This beauty will be hard at work helping us grow all the feed for our cows 🌾—and that’s where the magic really happens…

Because when cows are fed right, you get the good stuff 😋👇

🧁 Rich cream

Please head up again today if you need to charge your devices or get some signal. The shops open till 2pm, and free tea & coffee can be provided. Please bring any water containers you may need filling if you’re still without too! ✨💚

Is anyone still without water and/or electricity in the village?
If so, we can open our heated undercover area today between 2–4pm for free hot drinks, phone charging, signal, and water refills.

To make sure we’re not opening up unnecessarily, we do need to know ahead of time if you’d like to use the space — we’ll only open it if there’s interest, as we’ll need to get the area warm and the coffee machine ready.

Even if you only need to pop into the shop for essentials, please get in touch — we’re here to help now our facilities are back online 💛
