It’s Darren’s 30th birthday!!!

As you all know Darren is a huge part of the team here in Rugby and we just couldn’t do it without him! Always a good sport and up for anything no matter the circumstances he smiles even when covered in skimmer muck. Every shop would be better if they had a Darren.

Having spent the last 3 years getting nothing but abuse for being old since I turned 30 from him. So welcome to the old man’s club Darren 🤣

Another livestock delivery today we have lot of stunning bits in. This is a quick selection of a few of the new bits this week including a white bar tang, an emperor shrimp (Zenopontonia rex)which is something I have been hunting for a while and a pair of janssi pipefish 🙂

We have just received a new batch of live rock, this is a fantastic way to add a huge amount of bio diversity to your aquarium.

We have had 2 different types of rock this time branch rock and deep water rock which compared to Indonesian liverock we are typically offered appears cleaner and is covered in coraline algae varieties and some macro algae’s

While there are pros and cons to live rock, even a small amount in a system can really help to diversify the bacteria, micro fauna and microorganisms in our tanks.

Big livestock shipment arrived this week!
8 boxes of corals and fish. This is just a small sample of the SPS which landed so Ed’s been busy chopping up all our older colonies from the previous shipment today.

We also have had a couple of boxes of euphyllia all the fancy name torches and hologram hammers etc and other LPS which you will see photos of soon.

Not to mention all the fish which arrived this week so stay tuned for more updates Friday 😎
