Coffee N Ting Had a good outing at the Charter Fair Rugeley this weekend. Thanks to the Huge Efforts of Jane Leadbeater and Sarah Griffiths
It was the first time we have sampled the Patty Man Van Along with Coffee N Ting. The feedback was good. And Rugeley will see more of the Jamaican Fast Food in the very near future.
Bit of History 1st tho.
The Jamaican Curry Pattie is the number1 fast food in Jamaica. It originates in the UK with Ships setting off on the Atlantic voyage stocking up with heavily spiced and herbs in Pasties. They lasted well and gave a good source of nutrition and a taste of home.
On the return voyage it was difficult to source Lamb and some of the herbs, but more so the Four to make the Pastie. But the Island was becoming famous for smoked meat that had been heavily seasoned in local Spices. This was Jerk Seasoning and when combined with cornflour and vegetables became an excellent alternative to the Cornish variety and has last hundreds of years as a dish much loved in sunny Jamaica.
Today we are proud to not only bring it to the summer festivals, but also offer a local twist, with Pattie Smothered Fries at the Brewery Street Cafe. This week on Specials, soon to be a regular on the Lunch Time Menu. If you can handle the spice, Try a Bitta Nice!!

On Home Turf tomorrow. Rugeley Charter Fair is returning and we will be proud to be on the field.
Selling for the first time the number 1 Jamaican Fast Food Favourite. CURRY PATTIE> Flavours include BEEF< VEGETABLE< JERK CHICKEN> All Patties contain Gluten, Lacto Free, Vegetarian Friendly, Good Vibe Taste Buds with Spice. Best Taken with a Soft Drink. Or 1 of our Milk Shakes!!
Other Items on the menu include Hot Beverages. Cake and Muffins.

Coffee n Ting Ltd has been busy doing small to large events in the past 6 months. (WHEN ITS NOT BEEN RAINING THAT IS!!)
This coming week we will be on a mission in Home Ground at RUGELEY for the Long Awaited CHARTER FAIR 2024.
You can find us on Green Lane Playing Fields. Selling Hot & Cold Beverages. Cakes, but for a change and a taste of some HOT N SPICEY!!
We will be selling CURRY PATTIE Best taken with Ribena and Sun.
Jamaica's Number 1 Fast Food, reaching Rugeley for a Summer Vibe.
Look for the Food truck flying The Flags and playing good vibes

Good Evening Everyone 😀

We can confirm that we will be at Rugeley's late night opening event tomorrow!

We will be open from 1pm to 7pm and situated on the Brewery Street Shopping Centre Car Park along with the 35ft Helter Skelter and other Fairground Rides so why not warm yourself up with a Coffee or Hot Chocolate and a sweet treat while you are watching the kids having fun at the fair!

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
