A beautiful white flaky fish with a taste and texture very similar to Cod.

Appreciation post !

Last year at the Red Funnel Awards, not only were we lucky enough to scoop Gold for Best Fish & Chips, hubby also bagged the top prize, through a game raising money for Hampshire Air Ambulance.
A huge thank you to Red Funnel Isle of Wight Ferry and Summerdown - the Peppermint People for a fantastic stay. What a beautiful way to unwind in nature. We definitely didn't want to leave ! The facilities and extra touches were amazing, and the signature lounge on the ferry is a new must !

☀️🥵 IT'S HOTTER THAN HELL OUT THERE! 🥵☀️
We're opening as normal!
Although with temperatures nudging 31°C, behind the fryers the air temp will be closer to 50°C, please bear with us if orders take a little longer than usual. Our team will need to take additional hydration breaks. 💧
We will monitor the evening and if it gets too much we may close early.
So do yourself a favour.. Don't cook
We're already doing the hard work !
Grab some fish & chips, head to the beach, park, garden or sofa and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! 🌊🍟☀️

🌭⚽️ THE WORLD CUP IS HERE... AND SO ARE THE HOT DOGS! ⚽️🌭

We've gone a little bit mad in the Hayden's kitchen and created a whole range of loaded hot dogs to celebrate the football!

From the classic New Yorker 🍅🧅

To the fully loaded Yankee Doodle 🥓🧀

Premium Pork (87% pork) Beechwood Smoked Hot Dog. All served in a soft brioche bun, with Gluten Free options available on selected dogs and as chip trays.

Not feeling the bun? No problem! We'll happily chop it up over chips and turn it into a proper Hayden's chip tray. 😍
