The best summer fruits have arrived from a very successful trip to market this morning…. Sweet seedless watermelon, ripe Spanish figs , premium English strawberries, sweet flat peaches and juicy nectarines, delicious apricots , dark ripe cherries, scrumptious plums , fennel, Merinda , beef , plum and cherry Datterini tomatoes, Italian cues , large Italian lemons , the last of the white asparagus…. All just in time for you Father’s Day celebration meal !!!

We have for the first time Prosciutto Di Norcia IGP….
A specially selected, high quality Cured ham from the Umbrian Medieval hilltop town of Norcia ….

Slightly more cured than Parma with a paler pink complexion and a melt and in the mouth texture , the flavour is fuller and more intense !!

Also remember Father’s Day this weekend…

Italian flat peaches, Italian apricots, white asparagus, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful cherries, reasonably priced premium strawberries , large juicy, sweet Spanish peaches and nectarines, Italian cucumbers , Sicilian aubergines, beef , plum, Merinda, Datterini tomatoes, Italian fennel, large Sorrento lemons, Italian Tropea and white onions , Treviso , asparagus and king oyster mushrooms…. We are all rejoicing at Buongiorno Italia as the great people who make our favourite red wine have now come up with a brilliant Rose … made from the same Sussimaniello grapes …. This Bright pink wine has Explosive aromas with delicious crisp flavours of ripe summer fruits … and though it looks light it has a good body …

This is definitely one to try and have in the chiller for these summer months….
