Such a shame, after two days of the royal Cornwall show the last day today was cancelled due to high winds and rain with the car parks being shut.due to the conditions.
We have lost a days trading but must count ourselves lucky when we see the damage and loss of others at the show.
The alpacas are very happy to be home.
Thank you to Pippa for your support and hard work helping us to cope with packing up in the wind and rain.
Conditions were horrible.
Back tomorrow morning to rescue our marquee as too windy today to get it done.

Today has been a huge effort by team Carpalla to get the marquee put up ready for the Royal Cornwall show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We would like to say a big thank you to our lovely friends who helped us today, we couldn't do it without you all.

To anyone visiting the show we would be delighted to greet you in the marquee.

We will have three lovely alpacas on display for everyone to meet and greet.

Plenty of advice and help available for anyone considering an alpaca enterprise.

Margaret will have a huge range of alpaca themed items for you all to view and purchase should you so wish.

Our stand is very easy to find, next to the big rare breeds tent and opposite the sheep judging rings.

Carpalla Nelson did us proud on Saturday at the Cornwall Camelid BAS show.
Reserve champion white male.
He has been a favourite here, I was thinking he might do well and have previously shared a fleece shot with you on this page.

We didn't show any animals at the recent bas National show but I took some craft creations up.
Very proud of our three second place rosettes achieved in sizeable classes.

Having got to know these two ladies through the alpaca world, we would like to offer our sincere congratulations to Caroline and Kim on their stunning achievement. So much hard work and dedication has gone into this. Well done ladies.

We have only six weanling boys available as pet, walking or fibre friends this year. Available as a six or in two groups of three. We never sell individual weanlings as it's too stressful.
They are a very friendly group and we will be sad to say goodbye but we can't keep them all.
Making a good start with their halter training, all have great characters and are our quietest group yet.
Full training and back up available from us here at Carpalla we are always happy to talk over any issues or concerns with 15 years of experience to share.
Feel free to get in contact if they are of interest.
