Q: How Much do you charge? A: All food on our website is fully priced, and we charge a £4.50 delivery fee. Q: How Can I Order? A: Yo
u can order on our website at www.FoodKing.co.uk on your desktop, mobile or tablet - just click the "Order Now" button on our homepage and check out our menus. We do not take orders over the phone. Q: Where will you deliver to? A: Our Widnes site will deliver to any WA8 postcode. We do however also have a delivery service set up in St Helens that covers WA9, WA10, WA11 and some other postcodes. If you fall into these areas, please visit sthelens.foodking.co.uk
Q: How do I pay? A: You can either pay by cash on delivery, or by card/PayPal at the checkout on the website. If you pay by card or PayPal, there is an additional charge of 3.4% of your total order plus 20p. This is the amount PayPal charge us for accepting online payments. Q: What Time Do You Open/Close? A: Our operating hours are listed on our page and our website. Q: Which establishments will you purchase from? A: Our most popular orders are food, but we really will take orders for almost anything (within reason). Here are some examples of the types of orders we get:

Milk & other every day groceries
If there is a restaurant/shop/store that is open at the time selling the goods you want (within reason), then we will purchase them for you provided the total journey time stays within our radius. Supermarket orders are at a marginally higher delivery rate of £5. There is also a limit of 5 items, and any items above this limit will be charged at £1 per item. This is because looking for individual items can be very time consuming. Q: Will You Pick Up From Two Different Places? A: Yes, but there is an additional £2 cost for each additional establishment we need to visit to purchase your order. For supermarkets orders, however, the £5 flat rate as stated above still stands. So, for example: If you order KFC and McDonalds, the delivery charge would be £6.50. If you order KFC and 5 things from Tesco, the delivery charge would be £9.50.

A person in breach of this act if he/she:
"dishonestly makes a false representation, and
(b)intends, by making the representation—
(i)to make a gain for himself or another, or
(ii)to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss." We personally pay for your order with our own money before delivering your goods to you. By making a false order with no intentions of receiving and/or paying for your order, you are making a false representation and causing a monetary loss to the ourselves. As a result you would be in breach of section b(ii), as outlined above. "A representation is false if—
(a)it is untrue or misleading, and
(b)the person making it knows that it is, or might be, untrue or misleading." By placing a fake order/purposely providing a false delivery address, you are in breach of the above by making a false representation. "For the purposes of this section a representation may be regarded as made if it (or anything implying it) is submitted in any form to any system or device designed to receive, convey or respond to communications (with or without human intervention)." As above, we only take orders via our website, which is classed as a device designed to receive communications. As such, when we receive fake orders, we always have proof of false representation, as well as a link back to the person committing the offence. We take fake orders very seriously, and pass on all details of people committing fraud by false representation to the police. In some cases, police may pass on these details to the Crown Prosecution Service. Fraud by false representation can result in a fine and/or imprisonment for up to 12 months.
