12TH ISLE SHOWCASE
Saturday 16th May, 8pm (Doors at 7pm)

Our favourite underground Scottish label, .isle , who have been releasing music from across the world since 2016, is curating the line-up for this very special night at the brewery. Featuring well-loved artists and DJs from their roster, this is going to be a lovely one. Tickets available via link in bio.

BOB THEIL
Cult private press loner folk guitarist, Bob Theil, whose 1982 album 'So Far' is considered one of the Scottish greats of the era, with an eclectic mix of folk and rock influences. “One of the UK’s best kept secrets of the last 30 years” – It’s Psychedelic Baby

MATERIAL THINGS & AL WHITE (LIVE A/V SET)
Material Things, musical outlet of 12th Isle co-founder Stewart Brown, comes together with long-time collaborator, Al White, for an amazing set of live visuals and experimental sounds.

FERGUS CLARK (DJ)
Fergus, 12th Isle co-founder, has regularly broadcasted on NTS radio since 2021, covering many styles and moods across ambient, dub, oddball, electronics, new wave, folk and dance music. He’ll be drawing from his record collection for a themed vinyl set on the night.

INTERTOTO
Skirting around the edges of ambient and techno, Intertoto’s immersive sonic experiments allow the mind to wander through hazy textural detailing as infinite melodies unravel.

Really excited to be welcoming Arborist back to Futtle to play two consecutive nights this coming week. One of the best songwriters and performers out there just now, these nights will be such an absolute treat.

ARBORIST is the musical moniker of Belfast-based songwriter Mark McCambridge.

In 2023, he took the critical acclaim, success and unique production and songwriting of his first 2 LPs to new heights. An Endless Sequence of Dead Zeros, his 3rd LP, was released in April and won the prestigious Northern Ireland Music Prize 2023.

This month Arborist’s 4th LP is released – the first self-produced by McCambridge, largely from his home studio in Belfast.

Close-mic-ed and intimate, calling to mind albums such as Songs Ohia’s Magnolia Electric Co., The Divine Comedy’s Regeneration, The Blue Nile’s Hats and Wilco’s Ode to Joy, as well as early-70s records from John Cale, John Lennon and Bill Fay.

Recently honoured with a ‘Fellowship’ by the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University in Belfast, 2026 looks set to be a seminal year for this Irish artist.

🌿 New Beer: Wheat Beer with Bay Leaves🌿

Just a little note to let you know that a seasonal favourite, our organic Wheat Beer with Bay Leaves, is back in stock and available to order now online. It's pouring on tap at the brewery this week too if you're in the area.

If you haven’t tried it before, this Wheat Beer is made with three different types of organic whole grain wheat and passed through a thick bed of bay branches in the mash tun. It picks up loads of fragrant aroma from the leaves, as well as a lovely lemony, herbal finish. Light, refreshing and perfect for the return of the sun this week 🌞
