It's been a while ✨️
And this is not your average plastic-free post but one that deserves a spot in the grid nonetheless!
This summer has been so different in many ways and I've been quietly moving in the background, trying to do what I can, always hoping to make a positive difference, as I'm sure you are too 🧡
And as I'm learning more about things that had never crossed my mind, I wonder who else does this? - grooming their pets and leaving their fur just fly around for birds nests? 🐦
If you use a spot flea treatment, did you know that a single one of those, for a dog the size of B (medium), contains enough pesticides to kill 60 MILLION honey bees? Yes, you read that right! And if you don't believe me, check the The Rivers Trust website.
There are alternatives, nobody wants fleas! But no one wants to harm wildlife either, no one wants to know that most birds nest in the UK are now full of pesticides because of this common practice 🐾
