You may have spotted the Grief Encounter collection pot on the truck, or seen a little bit about them on our menu.

Well, this is the digital version ❤️

I’m running the Brighton Marathon next year to raise money for Grief Encounter, who support children and young people after the death of someone close to them.

If you’d like to chuck a few quid in the digital pot, it would be hugely appreciated.

And because Insta needs a photo… here’s one from training for my last marathon a couple of years ago 😂

A little look at what we’ve been working on for 2027… 🪬

I want the Indriya festival setup to look every bit as sensory as the food coming out of it.

So I’ve gone back to Lee at Jones Signs in Poole, who hand-painted our original sign, to create the next stage.

Taking inspiration from Indian truck art, “Horn Please” signs and traditional British fairground lettering, the new fascia and side panels will all be hand-painted and designed to work together as one proper frontage.

The original sign is staying, with timber and reusable materials used wherever possible.

These are the designs being turned into the real thing, ready for the 2027 festival season and larger events.

The calendar is open for 2027! Contact now if you would like to book us at your event.

What a week for Indriya Kitchen 🪬

A massive thank you to everyone who came and ate with us over the last week.

We’ve served enough people to fill a decent-sized theatre several times over — and my feet definitely know about it 😂

From the huge days with NHS and QinetiQ, to private bookings, two of my personal favourite breweries, and Roy’s quiz night thrown into the mix as well… it’s been a proper 2 weeks

Lots of prep, lots of miles, an obscene amount of naan, rice and chicken, and not a great deal of sleep — but seeing people enjoying the food makes it worth it.

A massive thank you as well to the venues, organisers, staff and everyone who helped. And of course, everyone who queued up and chose to eat with us.

Indriya has grown massively from where it started, and weeks like this really make you realise it.

Now I’m going to sit down for five minutes. 😂🪬

🪬 🚨 Heads up for the quizzers at DR on Thursday.

So we can get you all fed quickly between rounds, I thought I'd make it a curry night!

I learnt both of these recipes in Goa, I hope I do them justice. ✌️

🪬 CASUAL HELPER WANTED – SEPTEMBER
With a couple of our regular helpers heading off to uni, I’m looking for an extra pair of hands at Indriya Kitchen.
Work is casual, mainly Thursday–Sunday evenings at pubs, events and private bookings. No set hours and you don’t need to be available every weekend.
Ideally you’ll:
• Have a Food Hygiene certificate
• Be comfortable preparing and handling food
• Have some experience working in or around a kitchen
• Be reliable, good with customers and happy to get stuck in
It’s a bit of everything – prep, service, cleaning and packing down. We’re pretty relaxed, but when we’re busy, we’re busy!
Interested? Drop me a message with a little about yourself and your availability 🪬
