In an attempt to alleviate stress on the sheep in the heat, the shearer started a bit earlier but has just finished all the sheep earlier than planned. Which is great news for the sheep, but we are sorry to anyone who was coming to see the shearing!

But so come and see all our sheep looking a lot less fluffy and much cooler!

Looking for something a little different to do this Bank Holiday Monday? 🐑✂️

Join us on Monday 25th May and watch our sheep getting their annual haircuts during our live Sheep Shearing demonstrations with brilliant local shearer Nick Flux.

It’s such a rare chance to see this traditional skill up close, and Nick will be chatting all about the process as he shears throughout the morning too!

A fascinating experience for the kids and a proper countryside day out all rolled into one 🐏

Demonstrations running throughout the morning until around 12pm and included with normal farm admission. Plus all the usual farm fun!
