Apologies for the radio silence but a few things to announce:

- we will have 6 - 8 *half* *pigs* available again next month! Will contain joints, chops, sausages etc, with a choice of flavours for the sausages and sizes for the joints. Or you can have it cut for charcuterie - it's all your choice! £6/kg (hanging weight), probably around 30 kg of meat in total but varies - payment taken on collection. Please message us for further details and to reserve your half!

- we are thinking about having a collection point. This would likely be at Kelly bray on a Friday morning, after we have delivered to Tamar Grow Local. If it proves popular we may add other days too! Details later but for now, any thoughts would be welcome - would you find this useful?

New sausages have arrived! And we have fancier labels! We are back to using our original butcher (so these are bigger ones) but with a new recipe that includes potato starch to thicken the lovely juices and stop the flavour escaping 😋 the rolled leg joints were almost all pre-ordered and only 2 are left.

Available from tonight on the Food Hub; limited number of direct deliveries also possible.

From Friday, we will have new stock at last! Our new flavour sausage is Garlic and Chive, we will also have traditional sausages back in stock along with b***d rolled leg joints. Another 2 weeks for the bacon and gammon though!

CHRISTMAS ORDERS

Yes I know its a bit early, but we have had a number of requests for pork leg roasting joints! We will be getting our next lot of meat back on Friday 3rd December, so if anyone else has any requests then pm us before November 29th and I will arrange it with the butcher.

Available from the 3rd, we should have:

- sage+onion sausage meat
- lemon+thyme sausage meat
- spiced orange+cranberry sausage meat and sausages
- chipolatas for the important pigs in blankets!

- we only have a few gammon joints left and bacon is sold out, sorry!
- our other available sausages are on the pinned post at the top of the page.

Welcome to The Particular Pig!

For those of more discerning tastes, we have created The Particular Pig to sell our lovely pork products. At An Kowel Gwenen in Cornwall, we raise a few breeds of pig and they free range from birth on our 7 acre holding. Our main breeding sows are Cornish (Large) Blacks, with the matriarchs of the herd being Betty and Pearl. Big Billy is our gentle giant Berkshire boar.

Our pork, bacon, gammon and sausages reflect the work and care we put in to our pigs. We work with our butcher to come up with new and original sausage flavours that reflect the best of the season's bounty, from the bright and fresh Sun-dried Tomato and Basil to the wintery warmth of Spiced Cranberry and Orange.

We hope you will enjoy exploring new flavours and old favourites, and you will see how particular we are about our food!
