Due to an open competition we will not be open at Thornhill Golf Club tomorrow night.

We are open all weekend though and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. We’re open 8am-8pm both Saturday and Sunday so if its a cold pint, a light lunch or a relaxed dinner, we have you covered 🤩

We’re looking for casual staff to work across all areas of our business including kitchen and Front of House staff.

The roles will be based at both our prep kitchen just outside of Sanquhar and at Thornhill Golf Club.

Duties for each role can be discussed with interested applicants.

Requirements ⬇️

⭐️ Able to work your share of evenings and weekends
⭐️ Hardworking and Trustworthy
⭐️ Reliable
⭐️ Some Experience in a similar role although on the job training will be given
⭐️ Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to work towards this for kitchen staff
⭐️ All staff must be at least 16

Update regarding Thornhill Golf Club ⛳️

Now that we’ve had time to find our feet and gauge the demands of our customers we’re making a few changes.

Our updated opening hours are below ⬇️

Tuesdays and Thursdays
Lunch service
11am-3pm

Friday nights 🍺🍕
The bar will open at 5pm for drinks and we will be making our famous pizzas to enjoy alongside a pint or to collect for takeaway.

Weekends
We will be open from 8am-8pm on both Saturday and Sunday with breakfast served until 12pm, lunch served 12-4pm and dinner served from 4-8pm.

We have also updated our menus and you can check them out on this post ⬆️⬇️

We take bookings in advance but you can also just walk in for comforting food, a cold pint and a warm welcome 🤩

Remember to get your pizzas booked early for Friday night as they won’t hang about for long 😋

This Sunday 3rd May sees the British Heart Foundation Charity Scramble at Thornhill Golf Club ⛳️

We will be open early for breakfast rolls before you tee off and we will be serving these all day 🥓🍳

Around 11am we will have soup and sandwiches for those who prefer a lighter bite. We are also slinging homemade pizzas and burgers from around 11am as well for those who want something more substantial with a pint 🍻

Guests and spectators are welcome to come and support an amazing cause and enjoy what we hope will be a lovely day, it’s also bank holiday weekend so you can enjoy a few drinks in the sun without worrying about a sore head for work ☀️
