As we enter the silly season, we just wanted to share something that's been on our minds recently.
When you visit Pembrokeshire this Summer… please, be kind.
Every coffee, every welsh cake, every meal and every smile across our counter comes from someone who genuinely cares about making your visit to MamGu’s a good one. Our amazing team arrive early, work through busy lunch rushes, clean up after everyone has gone and always try their very best to give you a warm Welsh welcome.
Like everyone, our team have lives outside of work. Some are students, some are parents, some are saving for their future, and some may be having a difficult day that nobody else knows about. They still turn up with a smile and do everything they can to look after our customers.
Most of you already treat our team with incredible kindness, and for that we'll always be grateful. Those conversations, jokes shared, smiles and words of encouragement mean more than you could ever imagine.
But every now and then, someone leaves feeling upset because of the way they've been spoken to by a customer. No one deserves to go home carrying that with them.
If something isn't quite right with your order, please let us know politely. We'll always listen, we'll always do our best to put it right, and we always appreciate honest feedback. We simply ask that it's given with kindness.
Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.
So this Summer, please be kind to all hospitality staff.
