The wonderful Mark & Lucy from make this most incredible Chilli Jam which we are serving as an optional extra with our Savoury Cream Teas. No extra charge. £8 gets you a Homemade Cheese Scone, freshly made each day, served with a dressed side salad, cream cheese with either our Red Onion Marmalade or now this amazing Chilli Jam plus Tea/Coffee.

Also, we are now stocking Apple Juice from - Henry has brought us a stock which are our in drinks fridge and ready to enjoy.

And both of these two new lines are from these wonderful people being part of our Courtyard Market here at Earsham Hall

While most people are winding down, Lucy & Mark from Mills & Davies Apiaries are suit-ing up, lighting smokers and carefully moving small nucs into their bigger honey production hives.

This is beekeeping up close, the careful, crafty, and oh-so-rewarding work that keeps our bees working and our honey flowing.

Now it’s YOUR turn to get hands-on!

Suit up with us. Step into the apiary. Feel the hum of the hive.

Whether you’re a curious beginner or a nature-lover looking for a unique experience, we’ll guide you through every moment of this fascinating world of honey bees.

Come meet the BEES!
At Juniper Barn
Mills & Davies Apiaries visit is a great informal way to get up close, and witness the fascinating little world of honey bees! Whether it's to start your own journey keeping bees, or just sheer fascination, this hands on introduction is the perfect way to start.

After getting suited & booted you will join Mark and Lucy as beekeepers for the day, getting up close and hands on with our honey bees at Juniper Barn.

We are not camera shy, we encourage everyone to take as many photos and videos as they wish, this is your experience that we want you to enjoy and remember!

After your beekeeping, we will return to the Barn to talk about the experience, answer any questions and sit down to a cream tea lunch followed by honey tasting.

This experience is priced at £60 per person. Starting at 11am (arrival 10.45am) with a duration of 3 hours, and will be held at Juniper Barn, Rendham, Suffolk, IP17 2AZ.
