Alright apologies for that last post with NO description (cheers Instagram) but here we are bank holiday Monday and we are coming up on nearly 100 of these doughnuts gone which is unbelievable! We will go another day with them today, they've not made it past lunch time yet so pop along and grab some before they are gone!!

Bramble crumble doughnuts today alongside some apricot pistachio galettes! These go so good with a filter coffee, the creamy filling has this smooth emulsification effect on the coffee just creating a delicious harmony of fruit and caramel! Must try!!

Did you know that we are almost entirely making everything ourselves here at FVR? From the coffee to the cakes and the food, it's all done right here onsite.

I came in this morning and Chef Alex was just making up his spin on a traditional galette! Just ate one (sorry, 6 left now) with a cup of our Rwanda batch brew and oh gosh that's an experience you gotta have. The Rwanda is a naturally fruity coffee with a bright acidity to it so the buttery brioche and the custard compliments that wonderfully to mellow it all out and bring forward the underlying jammy, berry flavours of both the coffee and the blueberry compote. Think sweet coffee & cream and you are pretty much there!

Summer holidays and it's time for First Friday of August, tomorrow on the 7th! We got adult AND kid tickets so make sure you get the right one and bring everyone!

Confirmed we got a special guest coming too! are going to be coming along with some delicious samples and bottles to sell for you to takeaway (also available to drink at the bar!)

Steak tacos, chicken tacos, veggie tacos all fresh off the grill and we got some incredible short horn beef skirt from so it's not to be missed!

Doors open from 5pm, live music and food from about 6pm!

Let's talk coffee! Given The Kitchen is next door to our roastery we obviously gotta have a lot of choices.

Every day we are rocking a choice of 3 espresso. Always a decaf choice and always our Brazil Fazenda Matao and then a rotating single origin which at the moment is El Salvador El Borbollon which I think is quite chocolatey with a nice fruity acidity to it bit like fruit and nut chocolate!

Alongside the espresso we are using the 3Temp to brew up Colombia Reforest Project which releases next week and this can't be missed it's so floral and exotic, a real treat on filter. Also because it's roasting we've made up some Rwanda cold brew specially for you too.
